How time has flown and plants have grown

DATE: Friday 20th June 2008

I made no posting in May as I got so absorbed into getting the allotment in shape, I completely forgot to record the work. Now is June everything is growing well.

About 90% of the plot has been dug, bed created and paths covered with bark.

Now my philosophy of Allotment Gardening is that it does not just have to be functional for growing begetables, but can also be a place to enjoy, just like our back gardens. And so I have been my usual creative self and started a series of sculptures. The first is called, "Through the Eye of the Riddle".

The second is call "Totem"

Both are works in progress, as they evolve and the allotment itself shifts and changes with its growing.

The herbs have done exceptionally well.

I can't believe how well I have progressed, in just two months! Its amazing and totally and utterly addictive.
