Native British Smudging Mix
When we use plants in our
smudging practices that grow and originate from this land, their energy
is much more relevant and stronger. The plants sprits themselves respond
and invoke the powers that is inherent in this lands heritage.
So instead of using White Sage, Sandalwood and other such plants,
try using this Native British Smudging Mix.
You simply take a generous pinch of the mix and place in a heat
proof container. Heaped into a pyramid shape, light the mix directly,
and gently blow to encourage it to smoulder. Be careful not to blow too
hard, otherwise the mix may be blow from the container. Use a feather or
hand to gently encourage the smoke to move over and through the person,
object or space you wish to smudge.
