Wild Stags
In this crazy modern world in which people have often lost their connection to the cycle to land & seasons, Wild Stags tunes into this cycle and natural rhythm. In the light of the Full Moon, we gather as menfolk to share our stories, our journeys and to listen to each other. Rituals are very raw, in echo of our forefathers and ancestors who also found an affinity with the cycle of the life and power of the Stag. Rites might consist of drumming, chanting, rites of passage, prolonged moments of silence or story telling. The tribe has three main rituals a year, Casting, Breakout and Tribe Gathering, each relating to the Stag and the rhythm that it has with the land and seasons. Calling for a deep
connection into the power and passion of this sacred land that holds the
bones of our ancestors, the Wild Stags is a Men-only tribe working
with rituals and rites that echo the Red Deer Stag cycle.
As Menfolk we quest to find and hold our masculine strength gently to
honour, to care, to hold sacred the mysteries of this sacred land. This is not a grove for egos,
for male dominance to run unchecked, but to find our place as priests of
nature, as warriors of spirit and guardians of our natural heritage,
expressing our spirituality through shamanic Druidry.
