A monthly study group led by Rob Wilson exploring an Animistic/Pagan Druid Path.

Commencing in September 2019

Each month over 13 months (September 2019 - September 2020) we will explore a different theme to give an insight and experience of the modern animistic, pagan, druid path. This group wont make you a druid, but will give you an experiential understanding of Modern Animistic/Pagan Druidry. It will be delivered both indoors near Broughton-in-Furness, Cumbria, and outdoors within the Lake District National Park. This can be started an any stage, however for a full and coherent experience you are advised to start from September 2019.

Animism is way we perceive the world and, importantly how we interact with it. Often cited as being the 'oldest form of spiritual practice' its as relevant to the 21st century as it was to our ancestors 7000 or 8000 years ago. Druidry today, and indeed Paganism as a collective, has evolved and matured, accepted and rationalised in the modern world. However to speak of the spirit of nature, of mountain, forest, stream and sea can still be seen as 'off the wall' therefore whether we see this as a solution to the environmental crisis, or a spiritual practice to engage with the world, or both, its vibrant and relevant to our lives here and now. This study group will explore the themes of modern animistic, pagan druidry to help you find our own unique connection and spiritual path.
