WILDCRAFT COURSES

Wildcraft Dreaming - Introductory Course

An introductory course to explore the basic principles of pagan, animistic, shamanic practices rooted in the British isles. Developing and deepening a connection with the natural world, the ancestors and spirits that dwell there and basic techniques to enhance that connection. This is a pre-requisite for the Wildcraft Weaving Course

This course is for those who are looking to walk the path of a spiritual journey that is rooted in the land. Drawing upon Druid, Animist, Pagan and Shamanic traditions and techniques, this introductory course will give you a deeper understanding and working knowledge of our native spiritual heritage that is inherent in the land, the isles of Britain. This isn't a revealing of some hidden or ancient mystical system, but 30 years of experiential practice shared to help folk find their own connection, their own spiritual expression rooted in nature, our experience through the working with the spirits of place, tree and bones of our ancestors and the changing seasons. Helping you to find your feet and courage to express the wild soul stories that are revealed once we open our mind, body and soul to nature, both as guide and teacher.

This course is a residential, self-catering camping weekend that introduces the basic principles and is needed for those who may want to join the advance course Wildcraft WeavingThe course is held in a beautiful, quiet and secluded valley in the south of the Lake District National Park, Facilities are:  composting toilet, urinal, shower, wash/ washing up area, 22ft yurt with log burner communal space with chairs and sofa, sail shade, fire pits, parachute tarp and private woodland & river access.
